My priority is to create an inclusive and nurturing environment that fosters each student’s holistic development. Our focus is on developing character in our students to help them be responsible, civic-minded, and motivated individuals. Our mission at Whitman Elementary School has always been to help our students become critical thinkers, effective problem solvers, good communicators, and to obtain the necessary skills required to continue their education and eventually enter the work force. I am thankful for the Whitman Elementary community for their continued support of their children.
I am a lifelong learner and am committed to the staff and students in Washington Township. I found a passion for leadership, so I returned to school and earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Wilmington University. I pursued my Master’s in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certification from Rowan University. I continued my education at Stockton University, where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education.
I have been an employee of the Washington Township school district for over 20 years, as well as a graduate of Washington Township High School. As I step into this role, I am filled with enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility to uphold the school’s rich commitment to academic excellence. I am delighted and honored to continue my educational leadership journey as Principal of Whitman Elementary School.
